职位描述
Responsibility:
1.To establish and lead the Integrated Credit & Risk Management dept. which is a centralized function that will provide guidance as well as checks and balances to risk exposure in the businesses.
2.To define the Risk Architecture for the organization and develop an overall risk management strategy, establishing a robust framework for the organization, putting in place the procedures, guidelines and standards for an enterprise-wide risk management function, addressing all aspects of risks including credit, market and operational risks.
3.To define high level policies and procedures to manage risk throughout the organization.
4.To ensure that the organization maintains adequate credit, market and operational risks, thus ensuring full compliance with all national laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
5.To provide guidance in the development of risk management analysis reports, approval procedures on prospective customers and guidelines on risk limits by type of product and/or transaction or customer. To provide guidance to the LOB risk managers in terms of risk management issues at the transactional level.
6.Be a part of the senior management team and be an advisor and partner to the business unit heads. He / She is expected to evaluate and monitor various risks for the organization's business activities in the local and regional markets, developing appropriate risk management .
7.To periodically review the organization's overall policies, portfolio, credit, market and liquidity risks and operational issues with the CEO, the Risk Management Committee and Audit Committee such that all Senior Management are aware of all risk issues
8.To be involved in the evaluation of new products and trading/hedging strategies for their impact on the firm's risk profile. Reviewing business risk plans and product programs
9.To spearhead all initiatives pertaining to risk management and for the institution and to oversee and provide guidance for the risk management team in the day-to-day operations in areas spanning credit, market to operational risk management
10.To act as the organization's main liaison with external regulatory and legal bodies on risk management issues and to serve on the local risk committee
People Management
1.Identify critical talent and succession gaps in the function and develop appropriate plans/strategies to ensure continuity
2.Train and develop team members in the function to ensure a high level of professionalism in meeting the desired performance standards and company objectives
Requirements
1.Minimum 10 years banking experience
2.Familiar with banking business and regulations
3.Bachelors, or equivalent, in Accounting or Finance
4.Fluent written and spoken English
5.Good communication skill and strong willingness of teamwork
6.Strong Leadership
