Job Description:
External Business Title: Accounts Payable Accountant, Finance Shared Services
Work Location: Shanghai
Reports to (Direct/ Indirect): Team Lead, Accounts Payable
Summary of position:
The position is responsible to perform the transactional activities in Accounts Payable (AP) in accordance with RA standards, policies and procedures. It is expected the position holder works on assignment independently with guidance and require judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
DO:
Perform the assigned accounting functions professionally and with a high standard of quality.
Keep documentation of policies and procedures updated of the assigned areas.
Communicate with internal customers or/and external vendors for issue resolution and/or escalate to supervisor if cannot be solved in time.
Key Competency Requirement:
Good command of English and Chinese
Able to communicate clearly and effectively
Teams player and customer centric
Has substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.
Good understanding of ERP(SAP is a plus), proficient in Microsoft Office Tools such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Qualifications/ Work Experience:
College above Degree in Accounting or related fields, or university degree in any other discipline but with a keen aptitude for accounting
More than 1 year experience in Accounting
Experience of working in MNCs or shared services is a plus
