The person who can excel in this role needs to have the drive and passion to initiate new customer relationships and distributors. He or she is expected to develop new markets and new segments, and generate sales of glassware, tableware, and other related products to luxury hotels and fine dining restaurants.
Job Responsibilities:
? Manage and lead a cohesive team of sales personnel to develop new business as well as expand current customer base. In particular, he/she is expected to broaden the current distributor network, and direct customer network of luxury hotels and fine dining restaurants in North China/South China
? Manage and oversee back end support in sales admin and operations
? Provide proper guidance and training to build a strong team to ensure continued success
? Develop sales & marketing strategies to achieve and exceed goals
? Develop territorial sales plans to achieve or exceed sales target
? Develop and maintain close relationship with distributors and with F&B managers, key decision makers and influencers among target customers
? Maximize revenue across product lines in accordance with goals
? Meet to exceed customer satisfaction
? Consistently build and deliver on an accurate sales pipeline
Skills Required:
? A seasoned sales professional with in-depth knowledge and experience of developing and managing distributors, preferably in the hotel and catering sectors
? Passion for the food and wine industry
? Experience and proven track record in a managerial role or senior sales position
? Demonstrated career stability
? Ability to execute and drive the business in accordance with the company's vision and direction
? Possess a strong sense of urgency
? A positive attitude, creative persistence and entrepreneurial spirit
? Enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-based environment
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin
? Excellent interpersonal skills and sound professional judgement
? Would require frequent travel to different parts of China
Education/Experience
? Minimum 6+ years of sales management experience
? Progressive sales management experience required
? Bachelor's degree would definitely be an asset
