POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Senior Manager, Global Marketing and Communications for Appliances develops a robust marketing communications strategy/ plan tiered with meeting the overall business objective, and leads the whole team in delivering integrated marketing communications campaigns to support business to achieve sustainable growth.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement a marketing strategy/plan, global messaging and communication themes for global appliances that is aligned with overall growth objectives

Utilize market research, customer insights, competitive intelligence and internal business plans to create and execute successful marketing communications programs.

Develop strategies and execute a comprehensive web-based communications program for business products and services/solutions.

Demonstrate the value of marketing to the business unit. Put in places measures and analytics to measure marketing effectiveness and ROI.

Work with the product management team to create and ensure consistent value proposition, positioning and messaging to support product launch/life circle.

In collaboration with global channel marketing team to develop Appliances channel marketing plan to attract broader customers.

Working closely with Appliances leadership team to create a strong internal communications focus for the business. Develop regular employee communications that relay business strategy and engage with employees further.

Establish, manage and optimize a global marketing and communications budget.

In collaboration with marketing and communications professionals from corporate and other business units, jointly build a companywide marketing and communications consistencies and leverage shared strengths and resources whenever possible.

Build, manage and develop a team of marketing and communications professionals.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Must have minimum a BA/BS; MBA preferred

10+ years of senior marketing, marketing communications, corporate communications and/or brand management experience in a global and/or technology- or engineering focused company.

Strong business acumen, knowledge of the customer, the competition and issues impacting business. Must possess the ability to understand business tactics, strategies and implement measurable programs.

Expert at translating business goals and strategies into actionable and measurable marketing and communications campaigns.

In-depth knowledge and experience with online marketing strategies and programs.

Demonstrated leadership and success in creating and managing global marketing programs.

Particular Skills & Abilities Required:

• Strong collaboration and influencing skills

• Strategic marketing capability

• Comprehensive and savvy understanding of business fundamentals
