职位描述
Our client is a leading multinational company in the FMCG industry. To support the integration of the newly acquired SJ plant in China, the dedicated plant HR manager position is added to the plant leadership management team. The scope of the job is to provide the leadership role in HR functions for the daily operations at SJ plant.
Position Overview:
The Plant HR Manager is responsible to manage all HR activities related to employment, labor regulations, service & provisions, retention and employee relation in the operation areas and undertaking a wide range of industrial relations functions to maintain a harmonious working environment. The incumbent is also responsible for maintaining, updating and communicating the Company policies & procedures to all Associates including developing and improving the work processes in Department of Plant HR.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment
Responsible for recruitment activities for Operation (sourcing, interviewing and hiring process)
Responsible for termination and exit interview process
2. Industrial Relations
Responsible to ensure legal compliance by monitoring & implementing applicable HR legal requirements.
Responsible for all industrial relations process (Disciplinary investigation, Domestic Inquiry, Labour Office / Industrial Court's case)
Liaise with all relevant authorities (Labour Office, Immigration, Police, DOSH, DOE etc.)
3. Employee Relations
Responsible for all sport & recreational activities for all Associates
4. Service & Provisions
Responsible for uniform's distribution process, Associate's transportation arrangement and Canteen's operation.
5. Communication
Ensure that all Company's policies are communicated widely & effectively throughout the Operation.
Act as liaison officer between operational Associates and the management.
6. Administration
- To monitor and ensure proper implementation and continuous improvement of Time Management System (TMS) and initiate follow up with action and monthly report of all attendance status.
7. Compensation & Benefit
Manage payroll administration of Associates in Operation including updating e-HR and e-Citrix (Information of attendance& payroll related matters)
8. Special Assignment
Participate and facilitate continuous improvement in various committee established by the company :
Suggestion Scheme for Operation
5S Certification and implementation at Operation
Qualifications/experience:
- Degree in Human Resource Management / Social Science or equivalent
- At least 5 years in Human Resource working experiences in the manufacturing industry.
- Knowledgeable and conversant in Industrial Relations Act, Employment Acts and the prevailing statutory requirements will be an added advantage.
- Possess strong leadership, communication, and inter-personal skills, with ability to interact comfortably with all level of Associates.
- With good knowledge of the best practices in Human Resource.
- Proficient in both written & oral English, plus Chinese.
Technical / specialized knowledge
Functional knowledge Strong experience in HR functions in manufacturing environments
Business expertise Excellent network in the industry/sector
Leadership Team management experience
Problem solving Act as biz partner for plant management by recruiting, retaining, developing people/talents; proactively provide a solution of dealing w. seasonal labor crisis all the time.
Nature and area of impact Functional expert; consulting role to business leaders
Communication skills Excellent communication skills and cross-functional collaboration ability
