Our client is a leading multinational company in the FMCG industry. To support the rapid business growth and organizational growth, they are adding a new position, a Sales Operations Manager to develop and manage the sales operations activities for their newly acquired business unit in China.

POSITION OBJECTIVE

The primary focus of this position is to manage the sales operations function to tackle all kinds of customer service and sales operations management related tasks. She/he will be responsible for the sales result analysis; assist the Sales Director to manage sales targets, budgets and forecast across different regions in China. This person will also manage the customer service function to provide efficient service to customers based on the distributor contract. She/he will also be responsible to assist the Sales Director to monitor the sales execution and performance of all regional teams across the country, as well as play a key role in establishing, amending and monitoring sales policies.

SCOPE OF POSITION

The Sales Operations Manager will be a strong contributor to the execution of sales strategies, the analysis of sales data, control and management of all kinds of sales expenses.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

· Assist the Sales Director in generating and amending sales expenses plan and P&L.
· Collect and review sales data and the preparation of the sales reports, i.e. expenses analysis and business analysis, etc. on a regular basis.
· Compile Rolling Forecast Planning and provide the Director and sales team with regular outcome of KPI results relating to Sales Forecast Accuracy. Also the preparation of SKU sales forecasting, expense claims and management analysis report.
· Develop key sales policies and monitor the efficiency of sales incentive plans.
· Assist the Director in monitoring all expenses occurred within sales department (SMA, travel expenses & management expenses).
· Ensure an all-round and seamless execution of marketing strategies and reporting on the progress and results of marketing activities.
· Review and audit the contracts before signing with distributors, directing and terminal customers.
· Establish and maintain the profile and filling of all terminal accounts(customers, distributors, direct sales stores, baby stores and supermarkets)
· Track the inventory movement of key accounts and distributors, making report on defective products tracking and management.
· Work closely with logistics team and the customers to ensure a smooth going of daily shipments of goods. When return happens, she/ he shall contact customers and solve the problem in a timely manner, making feedback to the relevant departments.
· Provide service to key accounts on a regular basis and help resolve their problems, so as to support sales team to achieve sales targets.
· Head up and organize cross function meetings with marketing, finance and supply chain team to discuss on appeared problems and work out agreed solutions for improvement, so that sales targets can be achieved.
· Head up AP meetings with sales team on a regular basis to ensure a well control of account receivable and reduce account risks.
· Assist Sales Director on performance management of the sales team: the entry and leave status, attendance, working plan, and assessment of sales team. She/he is authorized to review personnel performance on a regular basis and report to the Director.
· Responsible for the planning and organizing of M&S conferences.
· Take lead to teambuilding activities of sales team and work with training team to provide training courses based on the development needs.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sales operation function.
· Diploma and or Degree holder in Statistics and Business Management discipline.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Sensitive to figures, attention to details and strong numerical and analytical skills.
· Ability to work under pressure.
· Proficient in Excel, Word and PPT.
