职位描述
Our client is a leading multinational company in the paper consumer products within the FMCG industry. To support the rapid business growth and organizational growth, they are adding this new position in their North Asia business unit to develop and manage the export sales business for their newly acquired business unit.
SCOPE OF POSITION
Total employment responsibility: Functional responsibility for the export team;
Sales turnover responsibility: 5m Euro in Year 1, 10m Euro in Year 2;
Span of locations: Office will be located in Taipei; however the position holder will be required to travel frequently to the defined export sales territories;
Business diversity and complexity: The role consists of a full distribution sales function which requires sales management in different countries and cultures;
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
? Fully understand the company’s category/brand portfolio and prioritize target markets;
? Develop new business opportunities in the defined territories;
? Identify export customers, develop, maintain and manage the customer relationships;
? Secure appropriate support for the export customers to help them develop their business;
? Develop annual sales and business plans and turn such plans into execution to achieve the defined net sales & EBIT targets;
? Drive reliable forecasting process and secure supply for export customers;
? Secure suitable credit control;
EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS
? Degree/Diploma in Management/Business Administration related discipline;
? At least 5 to 7 years of export sales/international business development experience in FMCG industry;
? Fluent in English and Mandarin;
TECHNICAL/SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
? Experience in working with major FMCG distributors abroad or as a principal representative handling distributors abroad; fully understands their “modus operandi”;
? Analytical capabilities – ability to know where and how to get data within a distributorship environment and the ability to generate business insights;
? Experience with execution focus – hands-on to develop, motivate and enhance the skills and to lead distributors abroad to achieve objectives
? Strong business management, effective teamwork with all parties concerned, strong initiative follow-through, good communication and listening skills and command of selling process
? Experience in conflict resolution – ability to engage in productive discussions despite encountering strong opposing views and then influence opinion and overcome adversity professionally
FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE
? Strong export selling skills & experiences
BUSINESS EXPERTISE
? Good, in-depth and practical understanding of the fundamentals of sales and marketing operation and the understanding of business processes of export selling
LEADERSHIP
? Team management experience is preferred
