Director of Business Development

Purpose Of Job:
The purpose of the Technical Support Engineer is to allow Beckett Asia Pacific (BAP) to sell radiant gas burners to customers with a certainty of product application safety, quality results, and good business results.

Major Responsibilities And Authority:
1.Facilitate communications between BAP and DRP
2.Assist with DRP trips to China
3.Semi-technical training to Agencies. Create a continually improving technical training course
4.Component sourcing for DRP (USA) Recommend specifications for new components and/or burners;
5.Marketing material creation
6.Stock order coordination

Skills:
1.Good interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain the Beckett brand;
2.Ability to do technical training
3.Problem solving ability to resolve complex issues;
4.Good business sense to understand manufacturing expectations, specs, long-logistic routes and item minimization;
5.Ability to identify new ways to add value for customers – look for new sales opportunities;
6.Organized in data collection and storage so that results can be duplicated;
7.Excellent understanding of burners, including key components, applications, and maintenance

Qualifications, Education, Work Experience:
1.Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related degree
2.Good written and oral communication skill in both Chinese and English
3.Knowledge of basic software packages required (spreadsheets, word processor)
4.Three years of work experience in natural gas or propane combustion; Radiant heat job site specification and proposal highly desired
5.(Preferred) Knowledge of basic CAD packages (AutoCAD)
6.Experience in the following industry: Radiant heat, combustion efficiency or combustion test equipment
