Costing Analyst - Footwear
We are looking for an experienced Costing Merchandiser for Footwear Business.
Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing costing and quotation, he/she responsible for conducting cost analysis, historic comparison, and follow-up on quotations for all categories of Footwear with relevant merchandisers
- Responsible for developing relationship with all vendors, including material suppliers.
- Responsible for coaching and training merchandising team on should cost concepts (as and when needed)
- Complete ownership on the “should cost” provided to the merchandising team.
- Responsible to set priorities of conducting should cost in conjunction with RM and head of SS input.
- Responsible to follow-up with merchandising team on costing and quotation.
- China Market intelligence build up – about labor cost, policies, duty structure, other impacts etc.
- Responsible to work closely with Footwear group and develop various tools/models that facilitates conducting deeper analysis and generating insightful trends as well as generating reports for senior management
Requirements:
- More than 5 year experience in Footwear manufacturing and costing department.
- Have work wear safety shoes experience.
- Familiar with quotation form original development to mass production and understanding of the shoes-material and accessory costing.
- Ability to calculate leather and synthetic material consumptions of footwear.
- Knowledge of the costing about shoe last, moulding and cutting die.
- Ability to compile the shoe specifications.
- Master the technology of footwear and knowledge of shoe production methods.
- Get along with colleagues harmoniously and solve problems together.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Skilfully using office software (word, excel. etc.), experienced user of Delcam Crispin Shoe Cost programme or other alternative.
- Willing to work in Shanghai.

- 了解安全工作鞋的制作工艺和工作经验。
- 熟悉从原料开发到批量生产的报价流程,了解鞋类材料及配件的成本报价。
- 能够制作并完成真皮与合成革皮鞋的材料耗量。
- 具备了解鞋楦,模具及刀模的报价知识。
- 编制制鞋工艺说明书。
- 熟知制鞋技术及制鞋工艺
- 能与同事和谐相处,共同解决问题。
- 熟练的英语表达和书写能力。
- 熟练操作Office软件(Work, Excel等),有使用Delcam Crispin Shoe Cost系统或具类似系统经验。
- 愿意在上海工作。
