Job Summary:
Responsible for full aspects procurement functions for the Huizhou brewery. Manage of sourcing, purchasing process and NPD project, and various fulfilments as (internal) customer liaison personnel by following the strategic direction and contracts arranged by Asia Procurement Centre (APC).
Carry out regional projects/duties assigned by Procurement director-China
Job Responsibilities:
- Consolidate and prepare monthly reports for purchasing activities of Huizhou brewery.
- Implement Purchasing Policy and purchasing tools, supporting project team with analyses according to project specific needs
- Communicates product sourcing (including efforts on localization, new product development), product pricing, product quality requirements, sample order status, technical issues and other relevant information effectively with key (internal) customers.
- Prepares and proposes department strategic goals and growth plans align with direction from APC with particular focus on localization and new project development.
- Prepares and proposes annual budgets (both departmental/materials)
- Aligns all department members with company and departmental goals and objectives.
- Ensure department’s compliance with all appropriate standards.
- Develop the skills of the people and leads them to be successful.
- Lead the Purchasing Department and develop it to a strong sourcing and buying agent for the Huizhou brewery.
- Responsible for strategic focus of all procurements-related activities and build up supplier base and structure to fulfill the strategic goals of APC.
- Develop skills and capabilities of the team members to ensure long term development of the team.
- Performs other special duty assigned by management/APC.
Education / Qualification:
- Bachelor degree or above; in purchasing, or business, or logistics, or supply chain.
Working Experience:
- Over 5 years experience in purchasing area, be familiar with ERP system, with a beverage company is an advantage.
Functional Skills
- ERP system
- Deep knowledge of Purchase Process.
- Very good knowledge in working with Excel, Word, Power point etc., Outlook is necessary
- Very good knowledge in working with electronic purchasing tools, such as e-sourcing.
- Knowledge in negotiation strategy.
- Category Business Analyst: brief knowledge about the markets relevant for Category
