职位描述

SUMMARY: Manages and coordinates the activities of the Accessories Product Integrity team to improve product quality and maximize consumer satisfaction, in the pursuit of World Class Quality and the Under Armour Universal Guarantee of Performance. Partners with other cross functional counterparts in Accessories and peers in other business units to ensure correlation of Quality Assurance and Compliance standards and processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include the following. Other duties may also be assigned.


Leads initiatives assuring Under Armour’s quality standards for performance, fit, and compliance are defined, clearly understood and maintained at all Suppliers.


Provides feedback and helps drive Accessories short term and long term Strategic Sourcing plans


Plans and maintains strategies for optimum field coverage to provide conclusive Supplier performance information. Uses this information to maintain Supplier performance by driving change, improvement and prevention.


Certifies and maintains Under Armour audits at factories. Is responsible for ensuring capable certified auditors are trained and located at each supplier.


Develops and facilitates implementation of defect and error prevention systems with Suppliers.


Generates cross-functional communication and teamwork between Sourcing, Development, Production, Logistics, Product Management, Finance, and other departments.


Plans and conducts Under Armour Strategic Quality Audit Plan (SQAP) at factories.


Monitors and manages supplier performance through Supplier Quality Reports (SQR’s) and Supplier Quality Assessment Reports. Develops and drives Corrective Action Plans with suppliers based on performance as measured by Under Armour SQAP.


Participates in / leads product qualification process and proper pre-production process at the factory.



Implements / maintains concepts for prevention systems to eliminate error at suppliers.


Maintains information integrity and monitors / addresses supplier data trends.


Evaluate, approve, train, and certify new suppliers on a planned timeframe during start-up period.


Monitors Under Armour’s processes / expectations for raw materials at the factory.


Ensures supplier monitors raw materials components compatibility prior to production.


Quantifies loss in the field and presents useable data to leverage change and prevention at the factory.


Presents and regularly distributes supplier performance trend information.


Leadership and People Development. Recruit and train to develop a high performing Quality Assurance/Product Integrity team to support business needs. Exhibit leadership behaviors and train the second level of managers to be a future leader to support the Company’s growth plan.




SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree and 7 or more years’ of experience in apparel / textile manufacturing and quality management. Strong background in quality processes and procedure; Knowledge of various Quality concepts, such as Process Capability, Lean Manufacturing, SPC, Continuous Improvement, Mistake Proofing, 5s, Single Piece Flow.



OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Strong materials and manufacturing knowledge. Knowledge of compliance, testing, patterns and design. Strong background in quality processes and systems. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and follow up. Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks. Excellent communication skills with solid people skills and a real team player approach. Ability to work well with multiple personality types and levels. Ability to be assertive without being offensive. Self-motivated, works under own direction. Ability to work well under pressure. Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (MSWord, Excel, Outlook). Ability to travel approximately 60-70% of time.


LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general financial statements, business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations in both English and Mandarin Chinese. Ability to write reports and business correspondence in English. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, etc in multiple languages.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.


REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
