The Client:
Our client is a European multinational furniture group with a global production and sales set-up. we are looking for an experienced Technical Development Manager from furniture to take the lead on the technical development management.

Report to: GM(One European )

Responsibilities:
· Optimization of products, production processes and technology in regards to total costs
· And successfully implement with suppliers.
· Investigate new possibilities – materials, components or production technology
· Support product development in complicated products
· Support supplier improvement programmers such as production line reorganize, production efficiency, value adding production...
· Project manager on specific projects
· Cooperation with suppliers, Shanghai sourcing office and HQ

Qualification:
· Both English/Chinese speaking
· 5-10 years of experience with production and manufacturing process preferably used to work with high-end products
· Practical orientation
· Relevant technical education or background - technically oriented
· Communication skills in writing/verbally – English and Chinese
· Good at MS software(PPT/XLS/WORD)
· Good at teamwork, able to work with foreign-owned company - European style of thinking preferred
