Position Summary:

1. Provides direct supervision / training to employees performing work on Accounts payable.

2. Be accountable to the results of the team.

3. Handles vendors or internal customers A/P inquiries.

4. Works with customers, manufacturing sites, SCM and SSC teams to ensure a smooth A/P process.

5. Reviews vendor payment performance, GRNI, AP debit balances and potential duplicate invoices to minimize risk exposure.

6. Requires to work in rotated night shift.

7. Recommends and implements methods for dispute resolution and A/P process improvements.

8. Maintains positive relationships with key customers, suppliers, etc., who have a significant impact on the success of the organization.

9. Builds cross-functional relationships where persuasive skills, negotiation skills, and considerable tact are required to gain support.

10. Applies in-depth knowledge of professional standards and precedents in area of specialty.

11. Coordinates the activities of a team with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods, and employees.

12. Reviews employees' performance; coaches for improved performance and takes appropriate disciplinary action as required.

13. Interacts directly with subordinates and peer groups; interfaces with senior managers on issues related to the area of expertise.

14. Ensures satisfactory readiness on various processes for SOx and audit purposes.

15. Ensure reports are distributed to Celestica management on a regular basis.

16. Handles ad hoc project as assigned.

Knowledge / Skills / Competencies Requirements:

7. Makes recommendations based on interpretation of results.

8. Ability to drive projects and implementation of action items.

Experience / Education :

1. Degree Holder not limited but preferred in Finance or Accounting or English or equivalent professional qualification in Accounting.

2. Around 7 years of relevant working experience in finance field with multinational company.

3. Work under high pressure.

4. Conscientious, result-oriented, enthusiastic and eager to learn.

5. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

6. Proficiency in MS office application. Knowledge in SAP a definite advantage.
