I. Primary Purpose
- The position requires hands on physical testing of all items submitted for lab testing. This includes all raw material (textile, hardware, fillers, etc.) and finished products.
- The position requires basic computer skills as applicable to report writing, sending and data entry.
- Maintain a safe and organized lab environment.

II. Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain database of test information.
2. Maintain tested retains system.
3. Login and record all incoming testing items.
4. Perform in-house testing of raw materials and finished product. Analyze data, write reports and distribute to concerned parties for implementation in new developments after review by supervisor.
5. File all reports, tested retains and equipment purchasing records, operation manuals and service/warrantee agreements.
6. Create and update all forms and supporting documents and have them available for review by interested parties.
7. Facilitate outside testing when necessary. Provide necessary paperwork for testing and shipping information. Analyze data, write reports and distribute to concerned parties after review by supervisor.
8. Assist lab team in maintaining equipment including record keeping.
9. Maintain a professional and orderly work environment in accordance with the Coach Hazard Communication Compliance Manual (I.e. Safety information, MDSD Sheets and Hazard/OSHA Communications or equivalent).

III. Dimensions
The position contributes to the commercialization of new products by supporting the QM lab team in the qualifying of raw material components and finished product.

IV. Education & Experience Requirements
- Prefer prior experience in a lab environment and basic familiarity with lab testing machines..
- Computer skills, timeline management and data filing.
