Job Responsibilities:

?Coordinate and supervise the activities of all machining processes and workers during the machining of products.
?Work with the Plant Manager to identify and establish production priorities.
?Direct production operations based on established priorities and sequences for manufacturing products using knowledge of production processes and methods, machines, equipment capabilities, and skilled labor.
?Proactively review and analyze production schedules to estimate work requirements for specific job completions, and adjust accordingly to meet scheduled requirements.
?Support manufacturing & engineering with testing, troubleshooting and modifying manufacturing processes to improve production methods, efficiency, equipment performance, and quality of products.
?Identify and advise the Plant Manager of production & in process quality issues, providing suggestions and recommendations for changes in working conditions, design, test production procedures, and the use of equipment.
?Meet or exceed goals established for labor efficiencies, schedule attainment, scrap and rework, and any other production related goals.
?Proactively suggest, develop, and implement plans to motivate, empower, and develop workers to achieve work goals in a team environment.
?assist with the maintenance of various manufacturing machines and equipment.
?Implement lean techniques and principles to improve machine shop efficiencies.
?Support and direct manufacturing efforts in accordance with established company priorities and in compliance with ISO requirements.



Requirements:

?Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
?At least 10 years manufacturing engineering experience, plus 5 years management or supervisory experience
?Precision Machining industry experience.
?Strong leadership and management skills, along with ability to communicate effectively with our customers.
?Proficiency in CNC programming & Machining is highly desired.
?Experience supervising engineers implementing new processes and reconfiguring existing processes for maximum effectiveness.
?Ability to communicate well and foster a positive team environment.
