Your challenge (the elevator pitch)

- Focus and finding the right direction in the emerging digital STB business in China. In this phase, there is lack of standardization , and there are many new initiatives from different MSO/Broadcasters, it is easy to get lost in the vast information pool.

- Establishing good working relationship with Chinese customers and yet maintaining the right business ethics emphasized by Philips.

- Many Chinese customers lack the knowledge of the importance of control devices in the Home infotainment environment. As such, they rely heavily on RCS to assist them to define the specification and also pave the direction for them in the future services.


Your responsibilities
Marketing

- Work closely with potential or existing customer/consumers to pre-empt their future needs so that requirements are taken into considerations in product and technology roadmap.

- Collect market data in the Cable, Satellite, DBS, STB segments and translate this data in regional marketing and acquisition plan which will be consolidated in AP marketing plan.

- Support RCS AP Marketing for Marcom activities, example, organizing the trade show in China.

- Collect competitors’ product comparisons, co-ordinate bench marking activities and be on top of the competition.

Sales

- Aggressively acquired potential/targeted customers in the cable, satellite, DBS (Digital broadcasting system) industries.

- Support RCS AP Marketing to manage the retail sales in China

- Sales Acquisition
- Turnover : 10 million USD
- N.C.M : 33 million USD


- Provide sales and application support to our customers during the acquisition and project phase, and act as an window between customers and project team to achieve 100% CROT.

- Work seamlessly with the account managers to serves the customer to maximum satisfaction. (Achieve CSS score of 3.6 )
Your team
With Superior (Functional) - B2B sales Director:
- Review of marketing strategy, segment analysis, potential customers list.
- Commercial sales target and budget
- Customized products’ pricing and contract

With Peers :
- Act as window between customer and project office during the acquisition and project phase.
- Work closely with M&S AP to update the AP market plan and potential customers’ list.
- Provide competitions data, customers’ future requirements to product managers to update the technology and product roadmaps
- Work closely with local account managers to provide the best services to the customers.

Our offer

- Degree in marketing / economics/ electronics or equivalent.

- Good knowledge of the China Broadcasting or Cable industry.

- Good communication and organization skills.

- Strong business acumen.

- Able to work independently and he must be able to translate business targets into actions/planning and sales without much coaching.

- Able to work harmoniously with fellow team members.
