Position Description

Purpose of the Position:

- The tool room technician is a support function, assisting in the general cleaning and maintenance of plastic injection mold and related components.

模具维修技术员是支持性的岗位，帮助实现注塑模具及相关部件的清洁和维护。

Day to Day Responsibilities:

- Complete various assigned mold clean, maintenance and repair works. Follow the work instruction and tooling management procedure for all mold operations.

完成各种分配的模具清洁，维护保养和修复工作。遵守工作指令和模具管理流程要求完成所有模具操作。

- Measure and inspect the mold and components during clean and maintenance and report any observations to tool room supervisor or tooling engineer.

清洁和维护过程中对模具及其部件进行测量和视觉检查，将观察到的异常汇报给模具主管或模具工程师。

- Complete all required document record on paper and computer system for mold operation.

完成所有要求的关于模具操作的书面和计算机系统记录。

- Support on mold troubleshooting for production issue and product defects when necessary.

需要时支持针对生产问题和产品缺陷的模具故障诊断。

- Keep tool room clean and safe during the work.

工作中保持模具工作室的清洁和安全。

- Support production team on mold loading, unloading, setup and proper transportation when necessary.

需要时支持生产完成模具的装载，卸载，设置及合适的运输。

- Coordinate and track the mold component repair outside the plant when necessary.

需要时协调和跟踪模具部件外修。

- Operate the machine and equipment proper in tool room for related job when necessary.

需要时正确操作模具工作室内的机器和设备完成相关的工作。

- Support on mold spare parts and components storage and procurement when necessary.

需要时支持模具备件及部件的库存及采购管理。

- Finish the work orders assigned by supervisor

完成主管安排的工作指令

Project involved with:

- Required support on mold related production performance (safety, reliability, efficiency and etc.) improvement projects through PEx including Kaizen, DMAIC, etc.

通过卓越绩效方法支持与模具相关的生产性能提高项目（安全，可靠性，效率等）

- Required support to any projects for new product, equipment or process implementation

支持新产品，新设备及新工艺项目的实施

Education & Experience

- High school or above.

- 5+ years experience in plastics injection mold maintenance and repair.

Required Skills

- Deeply understand mold structure and function and related auxiliary.

- Operate machining equipment such as grinder, saw, etc.

- Knowledge and use of machine shop hand tools and general practices.

Desired Skills

- AutoCAD or Solid Works skills.

- Basic knowledge of CMMS (such as TabWare).

Soft Skills

- Good awareness of safety and 5S.

- Good communication and document skill.

- Good sense of responsibility and able to work over time when required.

- Good team work.
