Role Description –
*Make proper technical judgment on FTD & fabric hanger (recommended suppliers) during development stage
*Follow up FTD with concerned and problematic ones all the way from sample yardage to bulk for technical related issues.
*Being the part of commercial decision from fabric technical perspective
*Work closely with recommended suppliers and mills
*Contact link among QA, R&D, merchandisers and suppliers.
*GPQ for fabric including mill development but depending on individual PO’s workload (no. of developments and no. of mills), which may have separated in charge person.


Responsibility –
*Check FTD and fabric hanger on technical part during development stage while R&D is responsible aesthetic look and hand feel
*Follow up FTD if it’s aligned with sample yardage test result. If it’s not, analyze the cause and work with QA and suppliers to find out solution or make proposal of options.
*Alert and draw attention to material merchandiser for the concerned and problematic fabrics of their bulk fabric production follow up
*Provide technical judgment to the commercial decision group when there is any fabric quality related issue.
*Proactively work on material quality with R&D and material sourcing responsible to tackle on potential issue in advance
*Daily contact with recommended suppliers and mills, pay a visit when issue is critical for the need of onsite checking and solution
*If covers the role of fabric GPQ for some PO, needs to work with mill to set up proper quality system to meet our standard, also being part of evaluating and approving fabric supplier’s lab.


Criteria –
*More than 10 years sound experience in textile field, specifically in dyeing and finishing will be preferable.
*Textile related education background will be a plus
*3 years of multi-national company experience in material or quality / test dept.
*Team player
*Capable of English communication in oral and written
