Reporting to: Production Director

Scope :

?To manage and control all production and technical processes in your region
?To ensure that factories are ethically compliant at all times in relation to the customers requirements
?Source new factories and product in line with UK requirements
?Control of salaries and expenses in the region to budget
?To deliver garments to the agreed delivery schedule to the standards required by your customer and in line with TFG company policy and procedures.
?To raise technical standards in, companies, factories and TFG overseas offices.
?You must be proactive and diligent, foreseeing potential quality issues and dealing with these issues in a professional manner ensuring the Company is protected at all times.
?Lead your team professionally allocating their resources ensuring that we only produce and despatch correct first quality garments

Main duties:

1.To complete detailed pre-production meetings for all new orders.
2.To manage and complete risk assessment on all products in line with customer and TFG policy liaising with UK technical team
3.Ensure that all technical workbooks sent to factories are checked and correct in accordance with TFG requirements.
4.Ensure right first time approach reducing the supply chain lead time.
5.Manage in line inspections and monitor critical points in production
6.Measure and fit all fit samples before submission to the head office or customer and ensure size charts are completed along with all relevant paperwork
7.Use Fastreact to monitor your orders ensuring that the system is kept fully updated at all times.
8.To ensure that all major issues which affect the costing or ultimate delivery are communicated on a timely basis to the account manager.
9.Work closely with TFG compliance team with regards to audit procedures ensuring your factories are compliant
10.To ensure that your head office is kept regularly updated on the progress of each style with regards to the sealing procedure.
11.Build a relationship with the customer (buyer /technologist) to support the increase in turnover – FOB business only
12.Pre-shipment inspection is carried out on all styles and reports are submitted, correctly in line with TFG procedures. No shipment is authorised to despatch until you have signed acceptance of the order from a UK garment technical team
13.Ensure customer visits are carried out professionally and the correct preparation has taken place
14.Ad hoc duties – to carry out any additional duties as required by the company.
15.To travel overseas on company business as and when required.
