GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

1. BASIC FUNCTION:
Give a summary statement of the principal end result expected of the position.
Ensure the financial report are generated timely and accurately in compliance with U.S. GAAP, PRC Accounting Standard and reporting requirements.
Ensure financial reporting system can provide requested information for management’s decision-making.
Co-ordinate the preparation of information according to requirements of government authorities.

- Finance Analyst team
- Internal Control team
External:
- Business Process Delivery Center
- MJN inter-company, i.e. US, HK, Thailand etc.
- Chinese Party Finance Dept.
- Local government authority
3. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Describe important specific results that incumbent and subordinates are expected to achieve. Describe types of policies, "philosophy, and procedures incumbent recommends or approves (indicate which). Give examples of goals, quotas, performance standards and other types of planning incumbent recommend or approves (indicate which). Describe activities which are executed, scheduled, co ordinated, reviewed, approved, advised on or controlled (indicate which). Where appropriate, indicate frequency of duties ie, monthly, quarterly).
Business Management Activities:
1. Work with BPD and other accounting team to solve the issues raised by them;
2. Ensure month-end and year-end closing in line with Corporate Calendar;
3. Ensure accurate reporting and Tax package according to corporate accounting policies and PRC financial statement according to PRC GAAP.
4. Assist in Balance Sheet and P&L fluctuation analysis;
5. Quarterly review Reconciliation between US report and PRC report;
6. Ensure the Fixed Assets management process and accounting treatment in compliance with SOP;
7. Ensure the series of statistic reports for local authorities are prepared on timely basis;
8. Facilitate internal / external audit
9. Perform Ad hoc analytical project.
People Management Activities:
4. SCOPE:
Indicate appropriate and representative measures of "job size". For example, sales volume being generated, handled or serviced; budget being developed and administered; principal brands worked on; specialized measures such as equipment rental costs, volume of purchases, volume of receivables, volume of products distributed, etc.

5. REQUIREMENTS:
A. Indicate minimum amount of formal education considered necessary:
Bachelor degree in finance or accounting
B. Describe the nature and length of experience and know-how necessary to meet job problems and challenges.
Experience:
- 5+ years experience in financial reporting and accounting field;
- Experience in U.S. GAAP and PRC GAAP differences reconciliation; and
- Experience in BPCS
Technical know-how:
- Good knowledge in PRC accounting principles and US GAAP.
- Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
- Good command in English.
Managerial skills:
Interpersonal skills:
- Customer service orientation,
- Good team player with positive attitude and resolve problem skills,
- Good communicators with strong interpersonal skills. With ability to work to tight timetables and under pressure in changing environment.
