Strategic Commodity Analyst

General Competencies

Proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving ,dynamic environment.

Engineering background
- A proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team.
- Good time management and meet project deadlines
- Strong desire to deep dive understanding of responsible commodity and relevant market place
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- hands-on SAP, SpreadSheet and powerpoint presentation skills
- Excellent English speaking and writing

Job Description

Focus on the assigned Product Lines and the relevant materials
Attend the internal communications with key stakeholders to identify product roadmaps and long terms material requirements.
Externally acquire from suppliers capability and capacity roadmap. Identify and report supplier strengths and weaknesses
Establish a strong BCM plan, highly alerted from any events that can affect material supply short or mid/long term
Deeply involve in suppliers of suppliers level of BCM program

Lead alternative sourcing and qualification activities

Collect and publish Market Intelligence
