Position Responsibilities
1. Act as Product Engineer for current commercial business. Includes making changes to specifications and X-numbers related to raw material, production site, process or equipment changes as well as supporting internal trials.
2. Develop new products, based on current product platforms for regional customers and coordinate development efforts with Global R&D Team for global customer developments. Act as field liaison for regional product qualifications.
3. Serve as field liaison to Supply Chain in order to enhance the understanding and prevention of quality issues. Consult with and assist Operations Analyst, Sales and Supply Chain in addressing and resolving quality issues.
4. Coordinate and attend customer (converter and end user) machine trials. Assess, analyze data to understand how products perform on customer equipment. Communicate results to all internal function.
5.Assist R&D and Supply Chain in the establishment and maintenance of customer specifications.
Competencies and Qualifications

Education and Training: A.S. Degree in Technical area or 5+ years film extrusion
Work Experience:
? Experience in plastic films materials and processing
? Experience with product and process development
? Demonstrated ability to analyze product and process data
Required Skills:
? Troubleshooting skills
? Good communication skills, including ability to communicate in verbal and written English
? Film Knowledge
? Basic statistics and data analysis
? Report writing
