Overall summary:

The role has responsibility in leading, managing and developing strategies, operations and processes related to the treasury function, including cash forecast, cash management, risk management in foreign exchange and commodity. In this role, individual will work with other functions to champion treasury initiatives and continuous improvement activities. Drive change within and outside the Treasury organization to ensure better cash and financial risk visibility, and process standardization. Apply industry and treasury best practices to organization and structure.

Responsibilities:

1. Cash management

• Manage cash concentration, wire account and account funding;
• Manage daily cash balances and ensure adequate liquidity for each legal entity to operate effectively;
• Manage inter-company cash, including inter-company lending, dividends and capital injections;
• Forecast cash flow positions.

2. Risk management

• Assess, manage and mitigate foreign currency exposure;
• Know how to use hedging to mitigate financial risks related to foreign exchange and commodity positions;
• Handle bank guarantee, bank draft and Letters of Credit;
• Manage payment processing and support fraud prevention activities.

3. Analysis

• Keep up to date with financial and industry developments;
• Create solutions to new financial challenges by applying financial / treasury knowledge;
• Prepare financial reports requested by management;
• Support investment decision based on return on investment.

4. Treasury system

• Implement new bank technologies, products and services to improve cash visibility, cash cycle and simplify company operations.

5. Compliance / Governance

• Maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose and adequate level of control over treasury activities;
• Ensure treasury activities are in compliance with treasury policies, accounting guidelines, governance policies and internal controls.

6. Relationship management

• Manage banking, SAFE and financial institution relationships;
• Liaise with banks for treasury and fund management issues, eg, bank guarantee, bank draft.

Qualifications / Requirements:

1. University Graduate with bachelor degree in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent;

2. 5+ years treasury experience for a multinational company. Strong treasury background;

3. Strategic mind to business, good internal control mind and risk protection mind;

4. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills;

5. Have a thorough understanding of derivatives, hedging, investments, bank account management, and international funds flows;

6. Knowledge of capital and currency markets, accounting, finance and tax.

7. Fluent English language skills in writing and speaking;

8. Can work independently and under pressure. High integrity;
