JOB DESCRIPTION:


This position will report to the Director of Marketing and will work closely with sales, engineering and program management. In this important role, you will need to quickly become an expert on the server & desktop power supplies, their markets, our customer requirements, and competition and be able to translate this knowledge into product platforms that you will promote through high-impact materials that clearly communicate the differentiation of our products to the marketplace.


Specific responsibilities include:

1. Develop strategic marketing plans for desktop and server power supplies through market research, competitive analysis, customer engagement, and business planning that includes a pricing and cost strategy on each product platform.

2. Identify areas for growth and create strategic product roadmaps to help drive adoption of the product and differentiating features aligned with market and customer requirements and in partnership with Engineering.

3. Create and manage a sampling plan based on the product roadmaps to provide to sales and customers.

4. Drive and develop material including datasheets, press releases, customer presentations, sales training materials, website content, whitepapers & case studies for desktop and server power supply products that clearly communicate the value and unique advantage of our products

5. Assist sales in developing a quote package to respond to RFQ's

6. Provide recommendations on allocating engineering resources for program development



Requirements:



1. 6 or more years experience in power supply or server markets with at least 4 years in a product marketing role

2. Expert in power supply technology

3. Excellent business acumen and market knowledge in desktop and server markets

4. Excellent verbal presentation and writing skills

5. Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of establishing credibility with customers, sales, and engineering

6. Experience in developing effective and creative product marketing collateral, such as Web content, data sheets, and white papers

7. English proficiency both oral and written (Mandarin preferred but not required)

8. Ability to travel, up to 20%

9. Electrical Engineering degree

MBA preferred
