PURPOSE:
The purpose of the Senior Financial Analyst / Assistant Manager is to act as the primary Treasury contact for cash flow for the Asia region. This includes knowledge of effects of FX hedging, AR/AP trends, and working capital/cash flow forecasting vs actual reporting. The position requires a strong financial and managerial accounting background.
JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Financial Analyst / Assistant Manager is responsible for consolidating the weekly cash flow forecast for China and Asia non-China sites. In addition, the position is responsible for explaining AP/AR trends, the effects of FX hedging, understanding cash flow impacts of complex transactions, and consolidated working capital forecast trends. Additionally, the position will be responsible for other Treasury activities and projects.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting and Analysis

? Analyze and comment on cash balance/cash flow activity on a weekly basis, primarily for China and Asia non-China regions.
? Work closely with local and global resources to analyze cash flow variances between site reporting and GL activity, monthly and quarter-to-date.
? Provide first level support and guidance to sites for all Treasury reporting requirements, including training on Flextronics' cash flow forecasting tool.


Focus on Continuous improvement

? Liaise with global Treasury, Finance, and IT support colleagues to implement and maintain best practices, collaborate to gather and access data most efficiently, and develop resource networks for sharing problem-solving techniques.
? Continuously review tasks for process improvement, such as changes in exsiting reporting to address unique needs within the region and the corporation.
? Administer and implement controls to ensure accuracy in reporting.


Others

? Provide training for implementation of CFA module for sites worldwide
? Projects involving ERP/CFA improvements and efficiency
? Provide assistance for other Treasury activities as available


Requirements:

? Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance
? 4-6 years related experience ideally in the semiconductor industry or
Contract manufacturer
? Fluent in Mandarin and English
? Hands on experience with month end close, intercompany reconciliation, payroll bookings and reconciliation, standard costs, PPV, work order analysis, inventory reconciliation, reserves, warranty, and bank reconciliation
? Experience with ERP implementation
? Proficient use of Excel, V-Look Ups, Pivots, etc
? Knowledge of US GAAP, a plus
? Baan and Oulook Soft (OLS) experience a plus
