Job Description:

As a key contributor in our Asia Quality team, you will work with the Quality, Product Development, and Merchandising teams to conduct quality testing on components and finished product produced at suppliers for TRG. Your primary focus will be the daily operations of the testing laboratory facilities at the DongGuan office.

The position will report into the Lab Supervisor.

Responsibilities include:

· Operate the quality test laboratory equipment and resources to perform quality test on components and products.

o Testing lab covers testing for development, production, and analysis of field longevity and/or failures.

o Operate testing capacity within the lab to meet required component and production testing.

o Responsible for following published testing procedure and schedule.

o Reports on the success of the product quality, review areas of risk, investigate identified issues, report data analyses.

o Assist the Quality Lab Supervisor to improve the technical knowledge of testing luggage within staff and the TRG organization.

· Assist the Quality Lab Supervisor to develop and improve effective and best of class testing procedures.

o Maintain Laboratory Testing Manual.

o Improve and create new tests.

· Operate lab testing equipment to ensure effective results and accurate data.

o Assess current activities, identify areas to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the usage of the machines

o Execute/administer additions, changes, calibrations, and repair to the equipment as required.

· Conduct testing to support identified product failures.

o Testing to help determine root cause of failure.

o Testing to determine effectiveness of corrective actions.

· Assist product development process via proactive testing.

o Test and analyze products from competition and include innovative findings in products.

o Test and analyze development samples.

· Conduct test lab support to sister companies within the Centric Group.

· Ensure that reports are timely, accurate, concise, and following standard formatting

· Additional sourcing responsibilities as designated by Director, Asia Operations and Lab Supervisor.

Experience/Requirements:

· BA/BS in Business, Engineering, or related field.

· 3+ year experience in quality testing field.

· Oral and written English communication skills required.

· Position will be located at our DongGuan office.

· Proficiency with ERP systems on Manufacturing and Quality Systems.

· Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point) and Adobe Illustrator.

· Excellent project management and facilitation skills.

· Travel within China (& Asia) is required as needed.

· Ability to work with relative autonomy.

· Must be able to work within a staff of quality test lab employees.

· Experience working with cross-functional teams to effectively execute projects.

· Able to drive change and continuous improvement.

· Technical knowledge or direct industry experience is a plus.

· Team player.
