Program Manager, Mechanical

Job Description:
1. Plan and direct program schedules and budgets.
2. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of all commitments made relative to product development timelines, delivery, quality and the required business metrics.
3. Manage the coordination of product life cycle activities with P&L and customer satisfaction and have responsibility for accounts of various levels of complexity.
4. Be the key channel of communication for customers and act as escalation in the event of customer issues.
5. Maintain current and develop additional business with customers.
6. Monitor and track that project and program deliverables are met.
7. Support production sites for projects, costs and other customer related matters.
Job Requirements:
1. Knowledge & Skills
1) Excellent written and verbal communication skills
2) Excellent interpersonal skills
3) Experience in manufacturing environment, preferable with exposure in metal stamping, plastics injection molding and/or assembly.
4) Individual should possess and continue to develop most of the following success qualities: Enthusiasm, Self-confidence, Persistence, Goal-oriented, Initiative, Self-discipline, Innovative Spirit.
5) Proficient in operating Microsoft Office Application including MS Excel/ Outlook/ Project
2. Experience
1) Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or Business Administration or equivalent working experience.
2) 5 years of relevant working experience in a project management in a mechanical manufacturing environment.
3) Language skills – good written and spoken English is a must
4) Familiar with co-ordination activities between manufacturing sites and hubs.
5) Experience in managing customer service operations in a manufacturing environment which include support functions like PO processing, RMA and complaints
