SUMMARY OVERVIEW

The PM execute specific Business Management functions or implement specific Business Management programs as assigned by the BUD or BUM. The PM will regularly interact with key customer contact persons, with the workcell, operations, finance and other internal Jabil functions as needed to execute the assigned responsibility. The PM will perform the function independently as if acting on behalf of the BUM or BUD
Clear performance objectives, timelines and measures of success will be established through planning and discussion with the BUM or BUD

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Understand the general objectives and plans of the assigned Business Unit and how the assigned project fulfills those objectives. Together with the BUM or BUD, define clear objectives, timelines, results and measures for the project, as well as resources needed to accomplish these. (Examples of specific projects are: New product introductions; scrap reduction; etc)

Establish relationships with customer counterparts and functions inside Jabil as needed to support the plan. Gain support from the needed resources. Ensure the objectives and outcomes are understood and accepted by these members.

Co-ordinate all aspects of project implementation and execution. Measure progress, working independently to insure outcomes are achieved.

Report progress towards the planned outcome to the BUM or BUD and others as needed. Resolve conflicts, escalating when necessary.

Good communication and management skills.

Flexible for rotations in project opportunities and willing to travel to the extent required by the assignment

Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong project management skills.

Demonstrate confidence in action and pride in his work.

Demonstrated ability to communicate, negotiate and coordinate multiple functions to achieve objectives.
