SUMMARY
Maintain and ensure the continuous operation of the company LAN & WAN. Ensure optimal usage of technology and system to support the company's system network both internal and external. To determine second line support from corporate specialist on troubleshooting WAN connectivity and operation.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

? Maintain LAN & WAN up time and performance of the network.
? Provide technical support on network troubleshooting, network device installation and customization.
? Program Network devices and ensure compliance to baseline standards. Perform HW and SW upgrades.
? Implement network layout, network segmentation and network resource plan.
? Liaise with corporate network team on WAN design, compliance of standard, products evaluation and transfer.
? Program Network devices and ensure compliance to baseline standards. Perform HW and SW upgrades.
? Work with Telecom and Corporate/regional Network engineer on Circuits, WAN design and compliance to baseline standards
? Liaise with operation team of network ports relay out actives, design of network structural cabling.
? Liaise with cabling vendor on physical network cabling and infrastructure setup in facilities.
? Demonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively; making customer issues a priority
? Confer with reporting manager on complex or unusual situations
? Ensure 100% adherence to all company policies and procedures (i.e. Security, Health, Safety and Quality)
? Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all areas pertaining to data and proprietary information, whether internal to or customer specific
? Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all areas pertaining to the IT systems
? Understand and embrace the business and IT strategic direction.
? Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
? Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
? Possess a sound knowledge in, OSI, TCP/IP, FTP, TELNET, MPLS, T1/E1, Wireless, Firewall, VoIP and etc.., standards and procedures. Basic network monitoring and troubleshooting skills.
? Ability to analyze network issues and resolve in a timely manner.
? Familiar with Cisco Networking devices and products.
? Good project management skills.
? Tertiary education with some years of experience in LAN & WAN installations.
? Knowledge of servers and applications will be an advantage.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
