We are looking for a highly skilled Manufacturing/Production Engineer to join our team (experienced in stroller/car seat industry is preferred). The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the success of our manufacturing processes and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards. This role requires a team player who is dedicated to continuous improvement and has a strong understanding of manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

Manufacturing Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with manufacturers to maintain steady production from
subcomponents to final assembly.
Provide technical support and troubleshoot manufacturing operations.
Monitor and address manufacturing variances.
Work with iCandy QC to ensure consistent quality of parts and final
assembly.
Ensure production meets quality standards.
Achieve manufacturing objectives for components and final assemblies.
Resolve product, process, and manufacturing issues creatively.
Coordinate with suppliers on equipment and tooling maintenance.
Identify and report nonconformances.
Manage and update standard operating procedures.
Collaborate with suppliers and engineers to minimise production
disruptions.
Develop, test, and improve manufacturing processes to optimise
operations and increase yields.
Regularly test and inspect parts to ensure manufacturing consistency.

Engineering and Tooling Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with engineering during tooling to ensure design meets
specifications.
Review and approve tooling drawings.
Ensure component tolerances align with manufacturing processes and
factory capabilities.
Manage tooling transitions between suppliers to ensure smooth
production.
Conduct FMEA for products in development to assess manufacturing
risks.
Review key documents during NPD, including drawings, specifications,
and BOMs.
Approve T1s and assemblies with engineers against requirements.
Ensure tools meet iCandy moulding requirements.

Risk Management and Quality Control Job Responsibilities
Identify risks in manufacturing and supply chain.
Implement systems for consistent component production.
Manage QC/QA systems for full traceability.
Collaborate with engineers to update the Bill of Test and Book of
Knowledge.
Maintain a manufacturing knowledge base to prevent recurring issues.
Manage in-production changes using iCandy procedures.
