Basic Function:

The IT Administrator is based in China and is responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues, as well as ensuring system uptime, performance, and security. In addition, the position is responsible for solving complicated problems related to a variety of network and information systems.

Specific Responsibilities:

1. Builds, configures, deploys, and troubleshoots Windows Laptop environments (Windows 10 & 11 Professional).
2. Maintains, implements, and monitors the security of the End User computing (laptops) and the office network infrastructure.
3. Collaborates with IS Team, third-party support, and service vendors, to ensure that the network is operating effectively and that support issues are resolved in a timely manner.
4. Monitors, diagnoses, and resolves hardware, software, and network infrastructure (LAN, WAN and WIFI) issues.
5. Monitors the performance of computer systems and networks, and coordinates computer network access and use.
6. Resolves issues from within the Help Desk.
7. Performs proactive monitoring and management of all infrastructure systems, including networking equipment, O365, etc.
8. Manages Multi-Factor/SSO throughout the organization for various applications and access.
9. Provides comprehensive documentation of existing and future infrastructure.
10. Documents, tracks, and monitors change to ensure proper resolution.
11. Provides on-call and\or after hours support as needed.

Qualifications and Competencies:

1. Requires an undergraduate degree or Certifications in a related field and 5 years or more of related experience as a Systems Administrator, or equivalent.
2. Must have 5 years or more of experience with Windows Server technologies, e.g. Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File Services, etc., (2012/2016/2019/2022).
3. Requires 2-5 years of Network Administration (Meraki preferred).
4. Must have 2-5 years of Corporate Firewall Administration.
5. Windows 10/11 OS Administration experience is required.
6. Experience with Microsoft O365 Administration, including PowerShell is required.
7. Must have a strong technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards.
8. Must have strong problem solving, analytical methods and technical skills.
9. Must be a self-starter with strong work ethic, positive attitude, and strong attention to detail.
