About the role
We are looking for Principal/Senior Field Application Engineer in Shenzhen to join our ambitious and highly motivated Sales team.

What you will do
? In this exciting position, your responsibilities include amongst others:
? Accountable to drive design wins in their target industrial accounts
? Drive customer visits for technical product presentations, demonstrations, and value proposition deployment
? Leads proof of concept, solution design and demonstrations to secure the win
? Synthesizes customer and competitive insights to improve product definition and roadmaps
? Manages our projects with respect to design in campaigns for assigned customers to ensure early involvement in the customer’s technology roadmap and continuous and timely flow of information to all necessary parties within the Business Line and customer
? Qualifies sales opportunities in terms of customer technical requirements and establishes our value proposition/position relative to the competition
? Qualifies the value of our products (strengths versus competitive products) and quantifies the technical benefits derived from choosing Nexperia
? Owns the block diagram process to ensure broader technical team understands the full system requirements
? Delivers ongoing formal and informal knowledge sharing and product positioning that helps assigned accounts understand the operational, financial, and business impact of our solutions within their practice areas
? Successfully builds relationships with sales team members, business lines, partners and customers in support of sales team objectives
? Analyzes customer's technical objectives through the use of relevant data gathering techniques enabling the sales team to be more predictive, effective and responsive to customer needs
? Assists in educating Field Sales Engineers on new technologies, new product features and their related business value

What you will need
? University degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Electronic
? Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in design engineering or field application engineering
? Preferably related work experience in industrial, consumer or home appliances or telecom based customers
? Must have strong communication and presentation skills to drive communication with relevant stake holders
? Must have ability to perform problem solving and support sales target
? Self-initiative & self-learning
? Fluent both in written and spoken English
? Willing to travel frequently
