该职位将作为机械工程师，负责室内和户外LED以及非LED照明产品的研发。将和运营、工程以及供应链部门组成的跨职能团队中协同工作，研究、开发、设计、审核批准并将新产品引入生产。该职位既负责审核机械制造工艺，也负责大生产前的首样。将会涉及多种产品类型例如压铸模、注塑、拉伸、冲压模、焊接、旋压以及喷漆喷粉等。 该职位将做为跨职能团队和供应商之间的联络人。被录用的候选人将评估、记录及批准各种制造行为。除了生产预备工作和产品审核，这个职位还要监督产量的提高和制造工艺的持续提升。             

1. 在产品开发过程中进行协作，明确产品需求，2D/3D图建模，创建/审查子装配/完整产品的打印，建立原型，审核批准安全性，整合生产等。 

2. 与供应商沟通，评估替代资源，解决制造过程中可能出现的技术问题，改进设计的成本和质量。鉴别、启动和实施工艺流程或产品开发的解决方案，从而改善成果、降低成本、提高产量和提升产能。 

3. 对灯饰产品和其他相关元器件的工程首样、产前样和生产样进行检验、评估和核准，判断是否符合规定的规格。      

4. 与工程和QA部门合作，协助供应商解决产品生产问题，满足项目进度要求。 

5. 确保记录项目中所有的产品工程修改，使所有的相关文件保持更新和一致。协助将LED新产品知识及要求告知Kichler中国工程部、质量保证部、制造准备部、验货员及供应商。 

6. 其它由主管/公司布置的工作。

职位要求：

3-5年制造业环境实际工作经验。有至少一年在机械制造业经验为佳。

大专以上学历，制造/机械专业。

熟悉CAD/Solid Works和其它工程制图、办公软件；熟练操作Excel和Power Point软件。

This position is for a Mechanical Engineer to work on LED-based and Non-LED-based lighting products for indoor and outdoor applications. This position will work within cross functional groups consisting of operations, engineering and supply chain to research, develop, design, qualify and introduce products into production. This position will be responsible for qualifying of both mechanical manufacturing process, and initial manufacturing samples prior to mass production. Would be involved in various product categories such as Die-Casting tooling, Injection model, Extrusion, Stamping tooling, Welding/soldering, Spinning, Painting & powder coating and etc.

This position will help to be a liaison between the cross functional team and the suppliers. The successful candidate will be evaluating, documenting and approving various manufacturing operations. In addition to initial setup and product qualification, the candidate will oversee successful ramp up of production and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.

1. Collaboration in the product development process to define product requirements, 2D/3D modeling, sub-assembly/complete product print creation/review, prototype build, safety approvals, production integration and etc.

2. Interface with suppliers to evaluate second sources and resolve technical issues that may arise in manufacturing and to improve cost and quality of designs. Identify, initiate and implement solutions for process/product development that improves performance, reduces cost, strengthens yield, and increases capability.

3. Inspection, evaluation and qualification of initial engineering samples, pre-production and production samples for lighting products and other related components against defined specification.

4. In collaboration with Engineering and Quality Assurance assist Supplier to resolve product production issues and meet project schedules.

5. Ensure documentation for all product engineering changes made in during projects so as to keep reference documents current and consistent. Support the transfer of LED new product knowledge and expectations to Kichler Engineering, QA, MRE, Inspectors and Suppliers.

职位要求：

College Degree, Major in Manufacturing/mechanical engineering. 

3-5 years hands on experience in a manufacturing environment. Prefer at least one year of hands on experience in mechanical manufacturing. 

Software/Hardware/Systems:Familiar with CAD/Solid Works and other engineering drawing , office software ; Fluent in Excel and Power Point presentation
