JOB SUMMARY
? Initiates actions necessary to achieve desired performance levels for new suppliers / new components / new technologies within Asia prior to start of production that will impact Europe Region
? Drives continuous improvement of Asia located supplier performance through regional performance measurement / analysis and initiation of supplier development activities. Coordinates establishment of prioritization of suppliers with Europe region sites.
? Provides support to Europe Region sites in the investigation, containment and resolution of supplier quality issues from suppliers located within Asia.
? Drive corrective action initiation, completion and closure with Asia located suppliers. Completes as necessary process and corrective action effectiveness verification audits.
? Performs initial supplier qualification and surveillance audits for Asia located suppliers in support of Europe region needs and requests.
? Assist and support escalation of supplier performance issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
? Provide leadership and support in the resolution of component quality issues from Asia located suppliers that are impacting the Europe Region sites.
? Leads the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives targeting Asia located suppliers that are providing products to the Europe Region Sites.
? Escalation point for site supplier issues from Asia located suppliers
? Coordination of corrective and preventive action activities between Asia located suppliers and Europe Region Sites.
? Lead corrective action initiation, completion and closure with Asia located suppliers, completing process and corrective action effectiveness audits as needed,
? Perform initial supplier qualification and surveillance audits of Asia located suppliers in support of Europe Region needs and requirements.

CRITICAL FOCUS AREAS
? Supplier Quality Issues
o Drives investigation, containment and effective resolution of quality issues with Asia located suppliers that are impacting Europe Region sites
o Leads corrective and preventive action activities with Asia located suppliers
o Drives continuous improvement in suppliers capabilities in problem solving including problem identification, containment, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action and effectiveness verification.
? Supplier Continuous Improvement
o Leads the development and execution, in conjunction with Europe Region sites, of continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to the region who are located in Asia.
o Establishes goals and objectives for continuous improvement for Asia located suppliers that are in line with Regional and Global targets and initiatives
? Supplier Qualification and Surveillance
o Based on site needs and requirements, leads the development and execution of assessment plans for new supplier qualification and surveillance audits
