Quality Control Inspector

Job Description

Title Assistant QC Manager（Dongguan Office ） Department(s) Compliance Reports to Quality Control Manager

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

• This Assistant QC manager is responsible for the implementation of the quality control management program.
• The position is responsible for assuring that the quality of the work meets or exceeds the project requirements/specs confirmed by licensor.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist QC manager to manage the quality control team to achieve the quality requirement;
• Ensure all products meet or exceeds the Licensor / customer specifications and standards.
• Ability to document, monitors, and track vendor’s daily, weekly and monthly output.
• Inspection standard / document maintain;

• Engage new item development with project team.
• Monitor & guide the management for QC team’s inspection performance for DPI / FRI / report.
• 3rd party / customer inspection quality monitoring.
• Monitor factory production &quality performance
• Work with 3rd party QC company / partnership company / customer QC on product confirmation and reliability, packaging, testing compliance.
• Customer complaint / the non-confirmed product follows up.
• Evaluation for QC performance of 3rd party company / partnership company

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Quality control testing and inspection experience for Toy Industry (Plush, Figure, Wooden and Electronics) & Musical instrument (Guitar, Ukulele, Electronic Piano and else)
• Ability to work with and communicate effectively with teammates, factory and 3rd party inspection staff.
• English spoken and written is in well.
• Ability to speak clearly and exercise good judgment.
• Ability to report in software skill such as word / excel and else.
• Experience of over 10 years’ work in well-known toy traded company (such as Mattel, Hasbro and else).
• Experience of 5 years’ management for QC work is priority.
