Operation Engineering Manager shall be responsible for all facets of operations for Final Assembly at the supplier/factory.  He/she shall be the main focal point for SC Operations and ODM suppliers in issue management. Operation Engineering Manager shall be responsible for new ODM or transitional ODM enablement and ensure process quality and repeatable execution in ODM factory.   Operation Engineering Manager shall think out-of -box for continuous Quality and Process optimization.  Lastly, Operation Engineering shall lead a team of Engineers to fulfill above requirement.

Job Description

Lead a team of Engineers to fulfill Quality and Process optimization and repeatable execution. Responsible for new or transitional factory setup:

All facets of operations at the ODM supplier/factory.

New factory or factory transition on-boarding and setup.

Review Manufacturing Processes Development & Implementation in support of Operational Excellence. Provides technical guidance to Site Operation Engineers and ODM in manufacturing and repair. Provide guidance on risk management and mitigate operational risk. Drive cost and cycle time reduction through line balancing, and line automation. Drive FACA (Failure Analysis Corrective Action) and yield bridge to mass production with our partners and other x-functional teams. Working with our contract manufacturing partners to design and layout the production line by applying lean and Six Sigma technology. This will be done in collaboration with other x-functional teams. Driving yield and UPH improvements with our partners and in collaboration with other x-functional teams. Feedback related partners for issue warnings, and verify solution is workable for factory and continues tracking. Drive shift left process and improvement action to improve end-of-line quality and field performance. Drive daily and weekly quality review with ODM suppliers. Managed periodic audit in ODM suppliers (Process audit and QSA) and drive gaps closure in ODM factories.

Minimum Bachelor degree Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering with at least  10-years related experience.Candidate with Master degree level is preferred.

Candidates should have knowledge in SMT process, Mechanical Assembly process, Test and Industrial Engineering in Electronics Manufacturing environment. Candidates shall have good knowledge in PC Product Engineering. Candidates is preferred to have Design for Excellence (DFx), 6-sigma and Lean Manufacturing

Ability to communicate in English and Chinese. Good team-players and self-motivation. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Strong leadership skill.
