职位描述
The vaēso Business Development Executive is a seasoned SaaS sales professional who commands a holistic understanding of the scope and impact of an integrated B2B SaaS product suite. This role oversees the entire client sales experience including lead generation and presales, development of relationship strategy and contract negotiation in both cases with multiple stakeholders, while also consulting and advising during the post-sale relationship.
Ambitious and entrepreneurial, the successful candidate has both the ability and passion for showcasing vaēso’s suite of products and how we are transforming manufacturing within the apparel and footwear industry.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the sales pipeline from demand generation to contract closure to achieve sales results in assigned territory / accounts while meeting defined and agreed upon quarterly sales targets.
- Take active control and responsibility for the development of vaēso business by cultivating relationships with C-Level decision makers, IT directors, and line of business executives.
- Where appropriate, use innovative selling technologies (e.g. analytics, social media) to network, engage clients, identify new business opportunities.
- Use fluent understanding and knowledge of the vaēso product suite to demonstrate the value proposition on a client-by-client basis, delivering insight and recommendations that address business requirements and pain points.
- Identify and orchestrate all necessary contributors to each successful sale, including marketing, implementation, customer success, product management, etc.
- Be responsible for keeping the brand-retailer-trading company informed of progress on the initial implementations.
- Consult and inform on the long-term relationship including operations and upselling.
- Share best practices with other team members and work together to achieve company sales targets.
- Use metrics and KPIs to push for continuous improvement within the business development role.
Qualifications
- 10 years of sales experience in IT services industry, with a demonstrated ability to build an effective SaaS sales strategy;
- 5-10 years SaaS B2B enterprise manufacturing experience;
- Deep understanding of the impact of a transformation of a client’s manufacturing ecosystem to the client’s end-to-end business model (from product development to final delivery to a consumer including the change in a client’s marketing from achieving a lean-transparent value-chain;
- Access and proven relationships with clients on CXO level, and with leading industry professionals and spokespeople;
- Ability to create compelling business cases that are tailored to client requirements and pain points, and that demonstrate ROI;
- Advanced skills in consultative, multi-partner selling and contract negotiation;
- Demonstrated ability to close large, complex deals for focused accounts and in assigned territories;
- Tenacious and results-oriented, with demonstrated ability to obtain significant sales results in a short period of time;
- Willing to travel extensively within his / her region;
- Comfortable working with reports / metrics to measure sales performance with special emphasis on meeting weekly targets (3 to 5 face-to-faces depending on location and client proximity);
- Disciplined and persistent to closely follow a large list of strategic accounts (e.g. > 100) using a CRM tool such as Salesforce;
- Experience using a CRM like Salesforce and demonstrated discipline to keep it updated with all events that impact a client (emails, calls, F2Fs, proposals, etc.);
- Excellent written and spoken English;
- Proficient use of Office software and ability to maintain his/her electronic equipment without the support of IT (Information Technology) staff;
Required Knowledge, Traits and Skills
Knowledge
- Minimum 10 years of experience in sales within the service industry (preferably in the TIC industry)
- Minimum 3 years of experience within the Apparel & Footwear industry
Traits
- Tenacious and results-oriented salesperson (has demonstrated the ability to obtain significant sales results in a short period of time)
- Assured and engaging “people” person (i.e. has zero inhibitions to make a cold-call or “walk-the-floor” at an industry conference)
- Has a history of building long-lasting close relationships with industry professionals
- Honesty and ethics beyond question
