The Electrical Supplier Quality Engineer essential functions include:

? Support all Nautilus global stakeholders (Quality, New Product introduction, Project management, Global sourcing, etc.) in the deployment of the supplier quality management strategy among assigned Asian suppliers.

? Provide direct support to all assigned NPI project engineering team members in direct communication, process validation, product development during all phases of development, launch and post launch support phases.

? Ownership of new product introduction supplier quality verification plan development and implementation and timing results.

? As responsible quality engineer having responsibilities for process control procedures e.g. FAI, Jig/fixtures control plan, SOP/WI, tooling validation, QC criteria definition in support of QA directives during all NPI phases.

? Ownership of the implementation of all approved engineering changes, deviations, through the Nautilus on-site quality Control technicians. Answering all inquiries of the supplier as required for full and accurate --- on-time implementation of all approved ECO/TDN's. This also includes the personal validation or coordinating the in-person validation

? Support new supplier selection actions, through evaluation or analysis in support of Global Sourcing group.

? Lead Supplier (assigned) quality audits, Customer compliance, test and reliability development programs in concert with the Nautilus Quality assurance, NPI and reliability teams.

? Act as escalation focal point to support root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier quality issues escalated by field, inspection, test, and complaint data.

? Analyzes Customer Complaint information and kick off meeting with our supplier when needed to dig out issues as well as drive corrective actions with supplier to reduce %OOB and Warranty Cost.

? Applies continuous improvement methods such as QTF/Lean Six sigma to optimize process, enhance manufacturing quality, Capacity, reliability and effectiveness.

? Work with Supplier to update Control Plan and SOP to maintain all of the improvements. Drives supplier to do 5S management on-site as well as performs SPC on key manufacturing processes to ensure stability.

? Support when needed for QPAP audit, Control plan audit.

Successful candidates will meet the following criteria:

? Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), plus over 5 years’ experience in quality/process control in electronic factory/company.

? Good knowledge of PCBA and tablet manufacturing process.

? Familiar with IPC-600/610/620 standards, knowledge of tablet devices is preferred.

? Skilled in Root Cause Analysis, along with other Lean, quality techniques, such as PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and 8D etc.

? Demonstrated ability to lead, act independently and make independent decision when needed.

? Good communicate skills and could work in both written and oral English.

? Continuous improvement mindset, strong sense of urgency.

? Based on Dongguan, Guangdong.
