Cipem, growing in a fast rate, wants now to go to another step and find new manufacturing partners. This sourcing initiative has three main objectives :

• Find new reliable and competitive factories to enrich its supplier network
• Anticipate changes in the market
• Be constantly informed of innovations made by factories

Icape Group Purchasing team is looking for a new Sourcing Specialist in China. This Sourcing Specialist will be 100% dedicated to CIPEM commodities, with the objective to find new potential suppliers.

This job will be based in Icape Group’s China Services Office in Dongguan. An important part of this mission will be traveling around China to visit factories and meet factory representatives in person.

Three important points for this mission :

• Good communication skills, able to speak both in Chinese and English
• Ready to meet new challenges, to spend 50% of the time in business trip
• Must have a strong experience in sourcing in China 

Minimum Education level: Bachelor degree

 

Language skills: Must speak fluently, write in Chinese and English

 

Working experience : between 3 to 5 years experiences in Purchasing, showing great achievements in Sourcing activity.

Mission :

- Source, Meet, Initiate partnership with suppliers for the listed CIPEM commodities: Cable & Connector, Transformers, Power Supply, Battery, Silicone, Membrane switch keypad, LCD, PCBA, Plastic & Metal ;

- Do benchmark, forecast of purchasing price trends and their impact on future activities;

- Support the Sales Department during new supplier onboarding (early negotiations, supplier monitoring)

- Present market analysis and possible solutions of growth;

- Weekly reports to Purchasing manager;

- Build good relationship with new suppliers.
