We are looking for a Pointnext Channel Sales Support Manager to join us. In this role you will join the WW Pointnext Channel Sales and GTM organization to support Partner Business Managers (PBM) and Wholesaler Account Managers (WAM) in Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) geographies in the sale of HPE Pointnext Services. You will support the team with actionable data and relevant business insights to maximize channel services sales, escalation management and business planning. Responsibilities:
- Utilizes understanding of customer business requirements to develop business case, validate the solution, and demonstrate services added value.
- Utilizes technical and business skills to lead complex cross-functional activities that drive continuous growth of the services business.
- Structure processes and workflows to ensure a solution selling mind-set.
- Leads key business initiatives in support of operational or financial improvement.
- Provide general sales support for PBM/WAM.
- Act as Pointnext portfolio SME, including NSIs and portfolio transitions.
- Collaborate with Pointnext Category Management on enablement and training.
- Assist with positioning the appropriate level of support.
- Assist with opportunity engagement, deal registration and escalated pricing requests.
- Support PBM/WAM in joint business planning to ensure appropriate services representation.
- Provide relevant sales tools and resources to improve Services KPIs (Attach and Pen Rates).
- Track partner performance against Services KPIs.
- Leverage Pointnext partner scorecards to provide QBR support.
- Provides mentoring and guidance to peers and lower level employees.
Education and Experience Required:
- 8+ years to establish proven track record in related business.
- First level university degree or equivalent work experience; advanced degree is a plus.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Moderate knowledge of IT and services industry knowledge of the company's organization, policies, services offerings, end to end processes, tools, and routes to market.
- Experience in working in complex international environments.
- Problem detection and analysis of root cause.
- Proven ability to lead teams to achieve results, exercise independent judgment and handle unique situations to accomplish goals in tight time frames.
- Demonstrated skills in planning and financial analysis.
- Good presentation skills. Ability to influence different functions, geographies, and the ability to build strong consensus.
- Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with desktop applications and familiarity with financial reporting tools for business analytics.
- Resourceful and action-oriented, being a fast learner.
- Moderate level of planning, project management and change management skills.
- Ability to communicate in Chinese/Japanese/Korean is an added advantage.
