JOB SUMMARY:
The International Major Account Support Specialist will coordinate export orders and field inquiries from department individuals, customers, and sales representatives in order to provide excellent customer service. Field direct inquiries from major account, (Kuka), and work with the proper departments to address issues relating to customer service, fabrics, styles, marketing, etc.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Coordinate export orders with customers and plants, including tracking and review of ETS dates, addressing late parts situations, coordinating with manufacturing plant any changes and corrections to orders.
· Act as the primary liaison to all other business units relating to these areas in an effort to provide excellent customer service while always being cognizant that order processing and invoicing is a priority. Working alongside the Retail Accounting Team, research variances between actual results and forecast to determine areas for forecast improvement.
· Accompany customer to authorized vendor visits to select covers and work with LZB International Merchandiser to manage fabrics requests and additions to the program. Obtain info on requested product styles and forward that information to the LZB International Merchandiser to develop product for customer.
· Manage marketing inquiries from the dealer by reviewing with LZB International Marketing Director for direction and follow up.
· Provide and coordinate information necessary to assist in increased sales of La-Z-Boy products.
· Makes recommendations to the VP of Finance and, upon approval, manages through execution of new forms of analysis that continue to sharpen the business’s ability to understand its strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities.
· Conducts store visits to La-Z-Boy locations in China to review product displays and POS materials being utilized. Follow developed check-list for review. Talk with store personnel/management to get feedback on specific subjects when requested by management. All review information is to be forwarded to management for discussion and feedback to dealer.
· Processing of warranty service claims from Dealer(s) which may result in personal visit to the Dealer(s) location to review and assist in the resolution. Process price adjustment credits, merchandise credits, replacement part orders, and advertising materials orders for Dealers.
· Other projects as directed from International management, as needed to support the team and International growth.
SCOPE & IMPACT:
Duties include providing customer service to Dealers/Licensees, ensure the accuracy of orders and commercial invoices which are used for final payment by customer and for export and import customs entry. There is invoicing and custom compliance risk to La-Z-Boy if these tasks are not completed according to our policies and procedures. In addition, this role will be the "face" of LZB for our key customer in China, Kuka, providing a higher level of service and interaction than what can be done from the US. This is important to ensure the continued growth of La-Z-Boy in this key market.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
· High School Diploma or GED with 2-4 years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
· Customer service experience required.
· English/Chinese Speaking is a requirement. Excellent verbal and communication skills required.
· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word & Excel
· Excellent customer service – friendly, courteous, empathetic and helpful; interpersonal skills and telephone etiquette.
· Teamwork – work effectively and productively with others
· Ability to assist others to understand policies and warranties
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as service schematics, operating instructions and procedures manual (technical instructions in diagram form).
· Ability to work effectively in a manual work environment and the ability to pay close attention detail.
· Self-Motivated individual that is an independent worker.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
· Associate’s Degree in Business
· Having own transportation is preferred.
