Job Scopes:

API is looking for a Project Quality Engineer, based in Guangzhou to support in new development project follow-up, sample validation, inline inspection and pre-shipment inspection on behalf of our clients. This role will station at the client’s supplier factories to monitor the daily progress and report the status to client regularly.

Key contact window with good communication skills to ensure good relationship with clients and bridge between sales, technical and inspection teams in South China.

 

Professional with manufacturing experience across various product categories for Europe/US market, in particular strong knowledge in Toys products background

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the clients to monitor and follow up the project progress in order to meet the timeline based on the project plan.
• Act as the main bridge between the clients and factories for communication and deploy the client’s requirement to the factories effectively.
• Perform sample validation, inline inspection and pre-shipment inspection on behalf of clients.
• Report the project status and activities regularly to clients by meetings or routine reports.
• Act as the technical lead of Toys internally and provide technical support/training for inspection and audit teams.
• Maintain and develop the inspection protocol and SOP of Toys inspection and other value added services.

• Minimum 5 years of significant experience in new product development and quality testing/inspection in Toys manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge in EN71 and ASTM F963 standards.
• Experience in sampling standard ISO2859-1.
• Experience in product requirement of furniture and electrical appliance area is a plus.
• Trained in ISO9001:2015 is a plus.
• Good in written and speaking in English.
• Self-motivated and independent.
• Willingness to develop.
• Good communication skills and high team spirit.
