VACANY: PURCHASER LIGHTING PRODUCTS

Luxiona Lighting Group SL is a medium size European lighting company with several subsidiaries in Europe and South America. Luxiona is specialized in the composition and creation of indoor and outdoor lighting systems based on huge expert experiences and broad scope of product brands.

At this moment Luxiona Lighting Group SL is repositioning the Luxiona China operation and opens a new office in Dongguan. For this new office we are looking for an purchaser with technical background and experience in the lighting industry.

Job description:

• Supporting the team as purchaser for all lighting products with RFQ, negotiations and supplier management.
• Actively involved in creating the Asian supply base for Luxiona which provides a competitive edge for Luxiona Group in pricing, quality, innovation, and supply chain.
• Being the technical knowledge base of lighting related topics in China office and clarifying technical specifications with Luxiona entities.

Your profile:

• At least 5 years of experience in working for or with lighting companies for EU market as LEDVANCE, V-TAC, PRILUX, OPPLE. This experience must be in the trading product area, such as panels, floodlights, high bays, etc.
• Experience in Chinese trading/manufacturing companies is a plus, such as: Zhejiang MEKA Electric; Ningbo Yourlite; Xiamen Leedarson; Ningbo Everstar lighting, etc.
• At least 3 years’ experience in purchasing and technical background
• Experience with contracts
• Experienced in working with Office [Word, Excel, PowerPoint]
• Must be able to write, read, and speak in English
• Fluent writing, reading, and speaking in Mandarin
• Accurate, result driven
• Proactive attitude
• Willing to make OT if necessary

• Become part of a small dedicated team with lot of flexibility and part of our team to create the new China organization
• Your gross salary will exist of basic salary, including housing and social security plus a fixed compensation for telephone cost, meal and travel cost
• A local contract with the WFOE company.
• Place of work is Dongguan city.
