GENERAL FUNCTION

Reporting directly to the Materials Director, this role is responsible to support the Materials Team in the seasonal price negotiations with approved material vendors to ensure timely delivery of the seasonal material pricing to costing and brand teams.

PRIMARY DUTIES

1. According to the global price calendar, ensure approved vendor price files are submitted by the deadline date.
2. Chase/follow up with any latecomers.
3. Screen and validate all details returned to ensure alignment with the original files sent out, correct any mistakes and ensure all requested information has been provided (incl currency, H1 qty, UoM, MOQs, destination pricing).
4. Work with costing team to ensure all new materials have been captured as needed.
5. Work with PDM team to ensure material names and details are aligned to PDM entries.
6. Calculate initial impact of prices returned and compare to past 2 seasons price adjustments by supplier.
7. Compare increases by supplier in each material category, then against guidance and commodity market increases as supplied by Materials Director.
8. Prepare Excel file of adjustments by vendor by category as instructed by Materials Director.
9. Work directly with category leads to present updated price analysis twice weekly until publication deadline.
10. Upload price files to central system once negotiations are complete.

1. Computer literate, MS Office applications & MS Outlook.
2. Experience in Excel is highly advantageous.
3. Excellent time management and communication skills
4. Ability to multitask in a fast-moving environment, highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
5. Mandarin Chinese speaker preferred. Spoken English essential. Written English is preferred.

Based at one of the Wolverine offices situated in factory environment (as assigned).

This is a temporary role hired via 3rd party.
