MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Our packaging specialist is responsible to support the packaging team in planning, execution and follow up of all packaging related projects: research, benchmark, propose solutions, liaise with agencies & suppliers.  

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES 

1.Identify innovative and sustainable packaging solutions in terms of design, functionality and price 

2.Close collaboration with the packaging team in Europe to support packaging development projects

3.Management of packaging suppliers for packaging development, quotations and sampling 

4.Obtain and compare quotations for new packaging concepts and for cost reduction 

5.Support the definition of packaging requirements f.        

6.Support the definition and execution of packaging testing plans 

7.Support approvals of primary packaging incl. printing and technical drawings 

8.Documentation of packaging specifications 

9.Control quality standards and supplier assessment

10.Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies in our packaging process and in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders 

11.Tracking of trends in the packaging market

12.Identify innovative and sustainable packaging solutions in terms of design, functionality, and cost 

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

1. Knowledge of packaging materials and production processes
2. Understanding of packaging testing and validation, including colour management
3. Working knowledge of CAD applications (Artios CAD is preferred) and technical drawings
4. Hands-on experience with MS Office pack and Adobe Suite: Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
5. Strong organizational and communication skills and ability to work independently

   6.Good spoken and written English
