Sales Operations Specialist (6 month contractor)
The Role:
The Sales Operations Specialist will be responsible for the set up and maintenance of customer master data within a sales region. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the quality of data used for business analytics. This position reports into the Regional Sales Operations Supervisor, and works closely with the Order Administration and Sales teams.
Essential Functions:
? Set up and maintain new customers in SAP
? Work cross-functionally to ensure all required fields are completed for customer set up in a “move fast” manner
? Ensure compliance with corporate data integrity guidelines for master data
? Actively manage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system including hierarchy establishment and administration, creation of territories determined by regional sales managers, and development request collaboration with IT
? Ensure customer master data is aligned between SAP, CRM, Partner Portal, and Business Intelligence tool
? Receive customer contracts from Legal department and enter financial provisions into SAP including pricing, payment terms, and special warranty terms
? Set up and maintain pricing conditions in SAP for special discount requests
? Assign promotional codes for partner incentive programs
? Set up and maintain rebate programs in SAP
? Perform audits and analytical reviews to ensure data integrity

? Strong data auditing skills

? Excellent communication skills
? Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
? Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously
? Ability to prioritize and drive issues to resolution in a timely manner
? Process improvement focus
? Fluent in written and spoken English
? Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
? SAP and Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Business Intelligence (BI), strongly preferred
Minimum education and work experience required:
? Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business-related field
? 2+ years professional experience in new customer set-up and customer data maintenance
