The Brand Protection & Security Investigations Manager will be based in Shenzhen, China. Responsible for managing all Ethics, Compliance, Brand Protection and Security investigations in the assigned area of responsibility while ensuring adherence to local, state and country laws and Flex policies. Lead all investigations of allegations of ethical, compliance and company business code of conduct violations that typically consist of corporate & international law violations, data breaches, bribery, kickbacks, insider trading, collusion by mid to senior level management. End to End management of all investigations in assigned region(s) dealing with alleged criminal activity involving company property or personnel which typically consist of material discrepancy & theft, confidential information leak & loss, supply chain security incidents and workplace violence. Working in this capacity, the Investigations Manager will work closely with and present investigation findings to the Director Global Investigations, Corporate Legal and Compliance Team, Human Resources, Site Management and other persons and groups as appropriate. Investigations assignments will be primarily located at China sites, with potential travel outside the region as well.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:

• Lead and manage day to day investigation activities in your area of responsibility and to support global efforts.
• Collaborate cross functionally with BPS Operations, Business Operations and Customers to identify and mitigate high risk situations.
• Engage and liaise with customers, suppliers, external resources and law enforcement through investigative work.
• Document allegations, casework and investigative findings, including writing investigation reports and utilizing case management software and databases.
• Engage in other activities aimed at protecting the reputation, intellectual property and assets of Flex and its customers. This position has the potential for significant travel within China, the region and globally as necessary.

Here is some of what you’ll need (required):

• 4-year degree in business, law, criminal justice or a related field of study or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant combinations of experience within a large organization, preferably within the manufacturing ecosystem or law enforcement community.
• Understanding of loss prevention and security vulnerability assessment methodologies.
• Ability to document and present investigative findings in English to appropriate prosecuting agencies and all levels of Flex management.
• Experience leading investigations into counterfeit parts/products, gray & black market operations, online marketplaces.
• Experience managing external physical & virtual investigative efforts such as site assessments, control/test purchases, surveillance, site assessments, evidence gathering & handling, open source inquiries.
• Ability to effectively engage and manage contract investigation suppliers in conducting due diligence and specific entity research.

  Here are a few of our preferred experiences/certification:

• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) or Certified Protection Professional (CPP) credentials preferred.
• Possession of passport and ability to obtain visas and travel globally as required.
