EHS Supervisor

1. Establish and maintain the EHS management system which is compliant with the regulations of China, local government, and group EHS guidelines;

2. Prepare and manage EHS department budget;

3. Monitor and track the status and results of all EHS improvement and corrective actions;

4. Provide support to each department with professional EHS knowledge. Participate in any necessary projects;

5. Work as a consultant to all operations in the factory to interpret standards and regulations; help pinpoint EHS problems; recommend changes; answer questions; and provide EHS related information and support;

6. Coordinate and lead incident investigation, root cause identification, and corrective actions;

7. Lead preventive actions and manage any follow-up required with other departments;

8. Review design of safety equipment;

9. Organize and educate employees and management in the area audit requirements;

10. Stay updated on latest practices and technological developments in the EHS industry;

11. Design, establish and maintain EHS training system to ensure all staff and visitors are trained with proper EHS awareness in the relevant areas of their job and/or the factory;

12. Maintain EHS data and reports;

13. Liaise with relevant authorities on EHS matters, such as EPB, Safety Bureau, Hygiene Bureau and Fire Department.

Requirements:

1. College graduate;

2. Minimum 5years in EHS; College graduate with an Environmental Science or Safety engineering background;

3. Good command of written and verbal English and good interpersonal skills;

5. Self-motivated and good communication skills

6. Knowledge of EHS regulations, codes, and standards applicable to Plants in China;

7.Understand ISO14001 management system standards and performance requirements. Have an ISO14001 internal auditor certificate.
