职位描述

Lifestyle QC Inspector is responsible and accountable in ensuring the quality and integrity of Deckers’ Lifestyle  products that are produced and shipped out from partner production factories through incoming materials screening audits, regular in-process production audits and final goods inspections.  He is also tasked to monitor production orders schedule versus ex-factory commitments.

  
Duties and Responsibilities:

Product Quality: 
1.      Regularly conducts materials, process, and quality audits in production lines to ensure that appropriate processes, QC tollgates and process controls are properly implemented and that critical quality issues are immediately addressed. 2.      Checks and confirms production material and color swatches to ensure compliance to production specs and confirmation samples. 
3.      Performs and is responsible for the final QC inspection on finished lifestyle products to ensure the quality and integrity of PO’s that are released for shipments in accordance with Deckers’ final inspection guidelines and AQL.

Assists the  QC Production/QC Superior in leading and coaching factory QC inspectors on critical quality and production issues.


Order Delivery Tracking: 

1.      Monitors production order status Lifestyle factories vs factory committed ex-factory dates and reports any potential delays to Deckers’ QC Production/QC Superior.     


Material Test and RS Compliance:

1. Monitors material suppliers’ and Lifestyle factories’ compliance to established ‘material physical property’ requirements   as well as ‘restricted substances’ guidelines.   Reports to his immediate superior any critical quality issues that cannot be resolved on his level.

Others: 

1.      Helps monitor and push factory compliance to Deckers’ ESC guidelines and reports any major violation to his immediate superior. 

2.      Monitors progress of the factory regarding continuous improvement (CI) program that are agreed by Deckers’ Production Manager or higher superiors and helps push for compliance. 

3.      Prepares regular reports as required by his superiors. 

4.      Do other special projects and tasks as may be assigned by his superiors.     


Qualifications:

1.College Graduate or any equivalent Technical course. 

2.At least 3 years related experience in quality inspection and production. 

3.Experience working with a brand is plus factor.  

4.Basic knowledge in production process , material/trims component
