ABOUT THE COMPANY

The company is responsible for all the Sourcing / Purchasing / Quality / Supply Chain activities with a steadily annual purchasing volume. The main product categories are Garden furniture, Household products, gardening tools, pets’ toys, pets food, toys, sports goods, Christmas decoration..

MISSIONS

Merchandiser is the key connection who needsto coordinate among Buyers/Procurement/Quality/Suppliers for handling all order related issues.

RESPONSABILITIES

-Follow closely the sourcing and merchandising process stipulated by company

-Direct Source factories, develop partnerships with key suppliers to negotiate better prices and get flexibilities

-Analyze product categories and opportunities to find new suppliers and negotiate better prices with suppliers in terms of price targets and specifications set by headquarters.

-Evaluate the introduction of a new supplierandensurethat the appropriate documentation and processes are completed.

-Manage monitoring replenishment from suppliers with procurement officers.

-Negotiate modalities in company name

-Manage, develop, and direct the purchasing function and lead asubordinateteam.

-Ensure compliance with production schedules.

-Monitor and identify new opportunities for manufacturing.

-Drive the development of the range according to the agreement of the seat.

-Conduct regular factory visits.?Regular conference call with the office team.

-Manage and automate the database suppliers /products.

-Ensure the making available of marketing elements onto OneDrive (HD pictures, assembly instructions in French and Spanish fact sheets in English, Spanish and French).

-Other assignmentsrelated to the position arranged by the superior

REQUIREMENTS

-Degree(s) (or other kind of formation) in management or businessorsupply chain.

-Fluent in English and Chinese is a must, French is a plus

-Capable tounderstand commercial market in terms of price, quality and product.

-Good organizational skills and interpersonal skills
